After looking at the butterfly fly away i rose from my desk, grabbing my katana and tieing it to my side. Leaving the papers behind Ryan casually walked out the door and into the hallway. The sound of his sandals hitting the floor filled the hallway with a slight echo. Eventually making it to the door i found it had been left halfway open. After fully opening the door i found there was no one in the central courtyard. Walking toward the barracks i see that door is partially open too. Using shunpo to get to the opening i was surprised to see what was inside. Nobody. "Where can they have gone" i said to myself. i stood there, rubbing my head, wondering where could they have all gone. Then the thought came to me "The training dojo!" i turned around and used shunpo to get to the across the court and into the dojo. Inside, i could see Kira and somebody else fighting with bokken. The rest of the squad was cheering them on. Kira was the first to notice me. Then his opponent, then others began to just stare at me. "Sorry to break up this session, but we got a mission. So get your katanas and get to the senkai gate." I said. Kira was the first to start walking toward the exit. Others got up and started walking out. Then many started running out. After the room cleared i used shunpo to get to the gate.
At the gate i noticed there where no guards. I looked to my left then to my right. No guards. Before I got the chance to search my squad came running towards me. "We're ready to go captain." Kira said. "Then lets" I responded. Turning to the gate, i remembered i didn't know how to open it. As if to read my thoughts the doors opened. After taking a deep breath, i walked in. Followed by my squad.
We walked into a very dark hallway. The only light was from the entrance and there was a green light on the far side. The strange thing was, the green light seemed to be coming faster then they were running. The light also seemed to be a beam rather than a doorway. I stopped dead in my tracks. "THATS A CERO!!" Kira yelled. The squad stopped in their tracks too. Ryan raised his hand to about chest level. He seemed prepared to catch the cero. The squad stepped back as the cero neared, its light brightening the path.
As the cero connected with Ryan's hand there was a shock wave and an even brighter light as the two conflicting powers met. The first few lines of squad members covered their eyes from this near blinding greenish, white light. Ryan then looked back at his men with a smile on his face. He then looked down at the cero which was shortening by the second. Ryan's pure white aura overtook the cero, turning it into a white ball in his hand. He pulled his arm back then pushed back toward the darkness ahead. Not far ahead, the cero exploded and a loud roar could be heard. Followed by many more roars and the sudden spiritual pressure of many high level hollows.
Suddenly an army of hollows could be seen around a mile ahead. The spiritual pressure of the many hollows seemed to weigh heavily on the weaker side of my squad. Kira was one of the many who stood their ground. Yet he still had a very scared look on his face.
