This choice: Crystal, the skinny girl with too much energy! • Go Back...Chapter #4Main Character Conflictions... by: Evil Genius (Before we get to that...)
Meanwhile, at Gamefreak...
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Crystal shouted as she slammed her hands onto the desk of the company's president. "You're replacing me?!"
Standing before the old president of the rather successful game company was none other than the first real female character that a player could play as in the pokemon games - Crystal. With her white jacket, red shirt, yellow bike shorts and rather slim physique, she really caught the eyes of several new fans...
... Although there was a problem...
"Well," The game company president coughed out turning to the side to look at a poster that had HeartGold and SoulSilver's main trio of characters. "We feel here at Gamefreak that we should try to go for more realistic characters, and while we do appreciate you for all your hard work, your... Um..."
Crystal crossed her arms as she blew a small tuft of azure hair from her face. Sure, blue hair wasn't common, especially since her hair was done into a pair of sharp tails that resembled that of a W. "Are you kidding me? My hair is the reason? What about Gold/Ethan? His hair is blue! And Silver's hair shouldn't be that red!"
"Crystal, please, calm down," The president coughed again. "I don't want to start anything that could lead to a fiasco..."
"Then how about giving me a chance?" Crystal requested. "Put me in the game alongside that copy cat of a girl you got replacing me! Let the fans decide who they like better!"
The president rubbed his chin slightly, it certainly was an interesting idea, "Hmm... Think you can change your appearance? Just to be more up to date I mean..."
"No worries!" Crystal cheered with a large smile on her face. "Just tell me when and where!"
"It'll take some time... But we should get started with the game," The president answered with a smirk.
Unknown to the two, a third pair of ears was listening in on the conversation, both of them belonging to a certain new, female, main character, "... I'm not going to lose to you... You reject..."

Ahem, now, back to the story...
Johto...
One of the regions in this vast world inhabited by Pokemon and Pokemon trainers, known to be leaning closer over to the traditional ways of the Japanese culture...
Our tale begins in the small sea bordering town known to several new trainers as New Bark Town, for this is the town where the trainers would recieve their very first pokemon and begin their journey through the large region.
Who would be the rising star on this Journey through Johto?
"Come on Lyra!"
"Slow down Crystal!"
Running through the streets of the small town were a pair of girls, both of them in their early teens.
The shorter of the two was a cute thin girl dressed in a pair of blue overalls with a red shirt and a large cabbie hat atop of her brown hair, that was also done in a pair of curled pig tails, "C-Crystal! D-Don't go so fast!"
The taller of the two, was the very same girl who broke the fourth-wall, only this time she was wearing a black button up vest under her shorter white jacket and wearing a white cabbie hat that had a red bow on it, "Aw... What's wrong Lyra? Starting to get winded?"
Lyra finally caught up to her slightly older 'sister', her face beat red, "Give me a... A break... S-Sis..."
"Aww... Come on!" Crystal chirped as she spun on her heel. "Professor Elm isn't going to be there all day you know!"
And like that, Crystal began to run off, with Lyra sighing loudly...
... With a venomous smirk on her face, 'Oh... Excited are we? We'll see how excited you are when you're nothing more than a mound of fat! The game designers won't even want to look at you when I'm done!' indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
