Largo began walking at a fast pace, causing poor Ramone to be jostled, while being hed in the mighty grip. The giant teen headed toward a thick forest that started not afar from the shore, and the smaller man found himself surrounded by immensely tall trees, it looked like a Canadian forest.... only on a larger scale!
After a while, they arrived to a wooden hut; Largo opened the heavy door with a kick and went inside, placing Ramone on the floor. The smaller guy, still dizzy, wobbled and would've fallen down, if a huge hand hadn't quickly seized his shoulder to keep him standing. "Ahem, sorry." said Largo, while putting down his basket. "I should've realized that carrying you could be a bit uncomfortable to you."
"D-Don't worry." replied Ramone, who felt that the giant was actually symphatetic.... Besides, he didn't want to get on his colossal host's bad side.
The small dude looked around. The room had not a lot of furniture, just a table, a bench and a cupboard, all made of wood of course; there was a stone fireplace and a ladder leading to the upper floor.
"You have a nice house." Ramone said. "Do you live here alone?"
"Yeah." Largo nodded with a sad tone. "My parents both died two years ago... They're buried in the backyard."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." Ramone apologized.
The huge teen shrugged. "No problem, I got used to that." Meanwhile, he was rummaging in the cupboard, and walked back to his tiny guest, handing him a knife. The metal object seemed small in the behemot's hand, but when Ramone grabbed it, he realized it was bigger than a butcher knife. Largo asked: "Do you have any experience at cleaning fish?"
Ramone nodded. "Sure, I use to fish a lot."
"Good." the giant said, and placed two bowls on the floor, beside the basket. "Put the cleaned stuff in the bowl on the right, and the rubbish in the left one." he said in a calm yet commanding voice, that made Ramone feel REALLY tiny and helpless for a moment. But then, the fisher teen smiled, adding: "While you work, I'll prepare lunch. I hope you like vegetable soup."
Sitting cross-legged beside the basket and the bowls, Ramone said: "It's perfectly fine. Thanks, Largo."
Largo smiled, and went to the cupboard to pick up some vegetables.
