"How about we go to the park instead?" Ian offered. "I picked up this weird DS game, thought we might check it out."
"Oh, you and your games!" Sam teased. "Sure, let's go!"
The two make their way to the park, which was just down the road from the mall. It was pretty large, with a water feature, and a large open field of green. A running trail circled its entirety, and benches dotted the edge of the trail.
Sam and Ian sat down on one of the benches, and Ian pulled out the game.
"So what is this game?" Sam asked.
"No idea, it's called 'Max Control' or something" Ian replied.
"Never heard of it. Have you?"
"Nope. It was dirt cheap though so I thought it would be worth a try"
"Figures" Sam teased, before taking the game in hand. Ian peeks over at the screen as she turns it on. After the DS splash screen, the words 'Max Control' show up in simple black font, followed by a prompt to enter a name.
Sam starts tapping away, and Ian sees that she has entered...
