Chapter #4

New Storlyline: A summer on the farm

James, Ryan, Steve and Cal were all in the pick up whilst their friend Jenny was driving. For hours all they had seen were cornfields and some scattered farms about once every 5 miles.

But it was worth it they thought. Because Jenny had offered them 7000 dollars each for a summer of working on the farm. For an 18-19 year old high school graduate it was a massive paycheck. Plus they could spend their summer vacation away from the big city and all of their problems at home.

After what felt like an eternity on the road they arrived at the farm at last. The farm was massive. It was made up of large sheds for each species held there. A large house for the humans. And massive enclosures from where the animals were out grazing.

Jenny explained that they would only start working tomorrow so instead she would give them a tour of the area.

Jenny thought about the shortage in animals. Her family had almost managed to get enough for the farm this year but they had been 4 short. She was not sure of what she was doing was the right thing to do. But she was certain of one thing, it was the only option, either that or financial ruin.

After about an hour of showing the boys around Jenny said that she would show them were they would live. They went to a large Yellow house. Jenny opened the door and told them to enter. As her friends entered the house Jenny thought one last time about what she was going to do as she took out the medallion and calibrated the medallion so that the right animals were selected.

The boys had just entered the house. They were confused as it was just a barn not a place for a human to live. But they did not have time to ask anymore questions. Jenny entered the barn behind them. She then said that she was sorry. After that Jenny fired a flash of light at each boy from the medallion.

James, Ryan Steve and Cal had almost no time to react. The medallion worked efficiently and almost in an instant.

James was within a second transformed into a mare

Ryan was then changed into a sheep.

Steve followed by being changed into a Hen.

And last Cal was changed into a sow.
