"But messing with magic before it runs its course has risks. I am no great wizard that truly understands the complexities of these things. I have a potion that can temporarily nullify magically curses that I keep for my own protection and dark magic users. The problem is that this is not a curse so I do not know how the magics would interact with one another. The king in his wisdom chose not to have any reversal spells brought with us so that we would be careful in the use of the scrolls. They are expensive and he wanted us to use them judiciously. So, we can try the potion but I can not say I endorse the idea." The scribe looked hopefully at the captain wishing to shift the burden of the decision onto him. The captain weighed his options knowing an unpleasant reality stood before him. Looking over the new shapely figure of the prince he decided it best if he made the choice as the prince often made impulsive decisions.
