Small as a bug

At first neither noticed as the bench and garden slowly expanded around them, their heights dropping inch by inch. Robert was also too busy teasing Erika for either to notice.

“Sorry, I can’t help it since your flustered face is adorable.” Robert continued to tease. Erika just groaned and hid her face in her hands.

Robert then hopped to his feet and turned to Erika. “Well, are you going to give me a tour of my new home?” He asked cheerily.

“I-“ Erika paused and took a deep breath and composed herself, then stood up aswell. “Certainly, let us head inside.”

Erika turned and started walking to the door with Robert in tow. The knob seemed a little high but Erika passed it off as her imagination. They had both lost a tenth of their height so far (making them 4’6 and 5’3 respectively).
