You try and make a run for it. You didn't know where you were going to run, but the flight-or-fight instinct took over. It didn't work, your new Mother, Ms Sullivan grabbed you by the arm and hauled you to her house. On the way she gave you a swat on the butt. It stinged. You stopped struggling let her escort you inside.
"Now, young lady, go up stairs to your room. Get out of those things, I am going to give you a bath."
"A bath??? I'm old enough to take a bath by myself. Besides it's the middle of the day."
"You're not old enough anymore. You only turned seven two weeks ago. You just got back from dance class. You are all sweaty. You need a bath before dinner. Now scoot before I'll give you a spanking."
You walked up the stairs, not knowing where your room was. You had never been in this house before. But once you got there, it was obvious which room must be yours. The bed with the Powerpuff girls bed sheets was the big give away. Entering the room, you sat down and tried to figure out what to do. Things didn't look good for you. You were now a seven year old girl and there were few options. Who would help you? Even your mother was in on it.
It didn't take long before Ms Sullivan entered. She looked in the drawers and found a pair of panties, a short sleeved t-shirt that said 'Girl Power' on it and some matching knit pants. "Now what about that bath?" she asked.
"I'm old enough to take my own bath."
"Not anymore," she said. "There are lots of things that you aren't old enough for now."
"Like what?"
"Well you will never be left alone for one. There will always be an adult with you like me or a babysitter. You can't cross the street or walk in a parking lot without holding my hand. You have to sit in the car seat in the back of the car from now on. There are lots and lots of things. Tomorrow you and I will wait for the bus to take you to first grade"
"That was for Amber, but I'm not really a little girl. Not inside."
"You are a little girl inside and out. Now strip."
