Chapter #4Reader's Choice by: shadow   As you try to take note of your surroundings, you see an white plain stretch quite a ways until it curves up to a giant white wall. Further on out, the ground curves up to a wall that goes up almost a mile. You stomp your foot down, noting the ground feels very hard. Still half awake, you conclude you must be in some kind of porcelain tub...THE BATHTUB
The horror sinks in as you look around at your surroundings. Not too far away, you see the bathtub drain, which to you looks like a giant hole in the ground, surrounded by a disk of metal. The drain plug stands high above it, looking like a might UFO of sorts, making you feel even more insignificant.
You recall when your sister Melly was younger, she went through a phase when she was afraid of getting sucked down the drain. It may seem like a silly fear for a toddler, but to you the danger was ever-present. The thought of helplessly being whisked away into a dark, disgusting cave where you would never be heard from or seen from again terrified you. A dark hell that stunk of sewage and where giant monstrous rats and alligators would roam. You shook off the fear, and started running as far away from the drain as humanly possible.
Above the drain was the faucet, which could let out seemingly millions of gallons of water (to you) at once, possibly drowning you. Further above that hung the shower head. As you traveled towards the side of the tub, you saw many disgusting things people would not normally notice at such an insignificant size. Areas of dirt and grime marked the bottom of the tub, which seemed to be quite large to you. However, to a regular person, they would never notice such a thing. You also passed by a hair lying in the tub, which length reminded you of just how small you are, and how much of a dangerous place you are in.
Tired and exhausted, you sat by the hair to gather your thoughts and a plan of attack. The drain was a bit further away, which was semi-comforting. However, you realized that scaling that porcelain wall would be next to impossible at your size. You started crying as you realized that you were trapped here, with no escape. It didn't matter how far away you got from the drain, your fate was inevitable.
It would be only a matter of time before one of your female family members would come in and take a bath or a shower during the day. One of them would come in, go about her daily routine totally unaware you were there as you got whisked away down the drain. Maybe someone would step on you if you were lucky. Or you would drown in an endless sea while whoever was responsible for your death was taking a peaceful, hot bubble bath. While many guys would enjoy going out in a fashion like this, it was way too soon.
As you sat in fear, knowing your death would come. You hear the door open, knowing that your fate is nearing. You look over to see who it is that will submit you unknowingly to such a fate...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
