Felix grabbed the feather. It said master Kalo." This must be the bird's owner."Felix thought.Felix pondered as to who this owner might be.What did he look like? Was he in the castle? Felix made sure to quicken his pace before he got hit.He slid the pail in while the phoenix was busy with the meat.He turned arround and heard fighting near where the guards were.He saw a black figure fly between them and punch both guards.
"Clockwork."
"What? Who are you?"
"I, kid, am that bird's owner."
He stepped out of the shadows wearing a white, modern style suit.
"What are you wearing?"
"Doesn't matter, kid.And I hope you have been feeding it beef. That's what she likes...oops."
"It's a girl?"
Kalo said no more and tossed the phoenix a pound of beef.It caught the meat in mid-air.The meat seemed to make it very happy, though, Felix wasn't sure.Kalo walked past him, taking his dear time, but from the look on his face, either he wasn't scared, or he was crazy. He opened the iron door and walked right in.He stroked it's golden feathers gently and hopped on it's back. Then he looked at Felix.
"Get over here, kid."
Felix happily hopped on the phoenix right before Lord William came into the room with two guards.
"Demetrius."
"Kalo."
"I'm afraid I'll be taking Lavinia back now.You know you can't stop me."
"And the slave?"
"I like this kid, I think I'll keep him."
He glanced at Felix and smiled.
"I bid you farewell.Álma!"
A fancy puff of purple smoke appeared and they were gone.
