"You'll shrink in random increments," the doctor said.
"So, you have no idea how much I'll shrink each time?" Sean asked.
"No." Dr. Sanders walked over to a table and filled a glass with a small amount of water. He walked back towards Sean. Without warning, he threw the water in his face.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Sean protested, wiping the water from his eyes. Suddenly, he started shrinking. "Dr. Sanders! Quick, give me a towel!" The doctor just stood there, smiling as he watched Sean getting smaller and smaller by the second.
After a minute or so, the doctor walked over and grabbed a towel and handed it to Sean. By this time,Sean was a little bit shorter than four and a half feet. He quickly dried the water off and watched as he returned to his original height of six feet.
"See?" Dr. Sanders said afterward. "No harm, no foul."
"What do you mean?" Sean replied, a little angry. "I could've shrank into nothing. You just stood there and watched!"
"I was simply trying to show you how the process worked. And besides, you're back to your original height of six feet, aren't you?"
"Yeah," Sean grumbled. "Can I at least have a dry shirt?"
"Of course." He brought a nurse into the room. She handed Sean a plain, white t-shirt. The 18 year old put it on.
"Can I go now?" Sean said, still a little upset.
"Sure," Dr. Sanders said, leading Sean to the front door. "Just remember, you have to blog about your experience every day."
"Yeah, I know." Sean got in his car and looked at his watch. It was only 9:30 in the morning. He had the whole day to kill. Where did he go?
