Chapter #7

Meeting the other you

    by: ForestFire5000 Author IconMail Icon
As the door opens and you look at the person behind it, you were shocked to find that he looked just like you! The only exceptions were his hair and eye colors being the exact opposite of yours. Although you had 'returned to your original height' once again stood at an even 6 feet tall (to this subatomic scale, anyway), this you seemed to have died at least once already. He only stood at 5 foot 6, a full half a foot shorter than you.

This subatomic version of you stared at you with the same confused shock as you did him. You and your double simply stared at eachother for what seemed like an eternity.Just then, a voice called out from inside the house. A very familiar voice.

"Honey, who's at the door?"

As you looked away from your double, you saw the source of the voice. Much to your surprise, the person whose voice you heard made her appearance known to you: It was Sarah! Although, much like the alternate you, this Sarah had different hair and eye colors from the one who had caused your presence here in the first place. Her hair was blond instead of brown, and her eyes were a brilliant shade of blue. As you saw this version of your former goddess, you immediately felt a wave of tenderness in her presence. It was more than obvious to you from just this brief moment of seeing her that her personality was the exact opposite of the devilish woman you had married in your own world. She, however, had the same reaction as the alternate you; she simply stared at you in shock.

After several more moments of staring at eachother in this awkward silence, Sarah spoke up again.

"Ummm, Honey? Did you have a twin brother that you never told me about?"

"No Sarah, I don't know who this person is..."

"Well... He must have some relation to you! He looks just like you! Why don't we invite him in for something to eat?"

You snap out of your trance as you hear this.

"Oh no, there's no need for that. I don't mean to impose on you."

The Sarah double simply smiled with a pure gentleness that was equal to the level of cruelty the old Sarah showed you.

"Nonsense. We're always happy to show some good old fashioned hospitality to anyone. Please, come in."

Grabbing you by the arm, she proceeded to eagerly pull you into the house. She then lead you to a table where she pulled out a chair to have you sit down. The alternate you simply watched as his wife got you settled in. He then shut the door and joined the two of you. Sarah then began talking to you.

"So, who exactly are you Mister? You look just like my little Luke over hear. Are you his long lost identical twin or something?"

"Ummm... No, not exactly anyway..."

"What do you mean 'not exactly'? Are you his cousin?"

"No, it's nothing like that... It's just... Well, you'd probably think that I was crazy if I told you..."

A broad smile appeared on Sarah's face, as if saying "Oh yeah? Try me." She then proceeded to speak to you again.

"I'm sure that I've seen something even crazier. Please, just tell me your story."

The identical double of yourself nodded in agreement.

What will you do now? Will you tell them the truth, or will you try to hide your true identity from them?
