Upon taking his fist step, Sonic happened to look down at the floor by pure chance. He spotted something small and moving down by his feet. Thinking it was just a bug, he was about to stomp it faster than you could say “squish” when he noticed the bug was acting a bit odd. Listening closely, he discovered his name being shouted by the bug. The bug also waving its arms, as if to get the hedgehog’s attention. Sonic squatted down to get a better look at the bug, and sure enough the bug was actually a tiny human!
“Whoa, what are you, little guy?” Sonic asked, staring at you with his bright green eyes.
“Sonic, thank god! You have to help me!” you yell up at him. Before you could start to explain what you needed help with exactly, Sonic grabbed you between two of his giant, gloved fingers and brought you up to his face.
“You didn’t answer my question: what are you?” Sonic repeated, holding you in front of his giant face. You were a bit intimidated under his stare and found yourself trembling.
“I’m a human…” you answer simply. Wasn’t that obvious?
“Haha, a human? I’ve seen plenty of humans before, but none of them quite as small as you.”
“Well, I was shrunk! That’s why I need your help!”
“Really? How’d that happen?”
You were about to explain what had transpired just minutes ago when you realized something: how could you? You couldn’t tell Sonic you had shrunk and been transported to his world by one of his games. He’d never believe he was some video game character!
“Uhh…well…”
“What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue? Do you have amnesia?”
“Uh, yeah! That’s right!” you lie right to Sonic’s humongous muzzle. “I don’t remember how I shrunk, but I know I’m not supposed to be this size. Can you please help?”
