Chapter #5Transform into Melinda. by: McKenna   I always wondered what Melinda's life was like. However, realizing I never read the help file (something I almost always do, even if just to make a tech-writer happy), I loaded it up, and started reading. I was looking for how to switch from one person to another, and this was what I found.
Master PC utilizes a base signal system. All human are marked with a unique signal, and Master PC tracks this signal, and changes to a person are sent to the person with that signal. Now, should someone want to inhabit a somelses body, to acquire that signal, no changes would be made to either body. This is the process to do so:
Load the user's body in Master PC, then load the target body in Master PC, under a separate tab. Then under "Global Commands" in the toolbar at the top, click "Switch Body." A window will open, asking for the type of change: Subtle, or Overt. Subtle will have not have the target know that they have ever been different. However, basic attitudes will be kept. Overt will have know that they were changed but not how or why. All modes have the user know their previous life, and will also gain the memories of the body they receive.
After selecting a method, hit the Okay button. Changes usually take anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. Both user and target will go unconscious for the duration of the change. This is necessary to make sure that proper memory banks are stored/ereased, and that nothing too odd happenes while the changes take place.
WARNING! All changes are set as default. The "Revert to original" button does nothing. This is because when the "Revert to orignal" button is activated, the data that each signal had is sent back to how it was, before any changes were made. However, since the "Swap Signals" function does not alter anything about the bodies, the signal has nothing to revert back to.
I finished looking this all over, and decided to give it a shot. I loaded myself into the program, then Melinda, but before swapping us, I made Melinda not tired anymore, and turned her back to her old self. I then clicked "Switch Signals," and decided to use the "Subtle" option. Better to keep a lid on this. I hit okay as I heard Melinda start to wake up, and then blacked out.
When I woke up, I noticed I was on the bed that Melinda was on. I looked down, and saw Melinda's nude body, except it was me! I got off the bed, and looked around. I saw my old body lying on the ground. Apparently, Melinda hadn't gone over to my old body yet. I decide to go hangout with my (I seemed to really think of myself as Melinda) friends. I called up a few of my friends, and told them to meet me at the beach. I put on my sexiest swimsuit, and headed out.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
