Sarina is found promptly

Sarina groaned, holding her side as she walked, though it was more of a hobble, towards what she thought was north. She didn't know where that would take her or how, but all she knew was that she needed to make it somewhere she could rest and eat safely. Her body ached as her mind continued to cloud and the angel hobbled forward. Her flawless, save for some mud caked within, hair became a dark, navy blue. Her hair fluctuated in color based on her emotions, like a mood ring. Even among angels, this was a rare characteristic but one she'd had secret pride in.

She started to pant. The wounds on her body began to flare up. They felt as if they burned as the pain seared into her body and mind. She couldn't see anything except for trees, mud and more trees and the light of the stars in the sky. Sarina tried to remember why she fell, why He cast her down but the pain searing in her body also seared into her mind.

Sarina began to stumble more, feeling warmth spread through her body as blood trickled down her body from her opened wounds, wincing in pain as she felt dirt and mud cake within the wounds and flare up the pain inside of them. Her eyes began to become unfocused as she saw what looked like a different section of land in front of her. It looked black with lines of some kind on them. She could see better as a light shone from her right, revealing it to look harder and more solid then the rest of the ground and the light came from some large boxy...Sarina didn't know what to call it.

She felt her mind and body wane, stumbling and finding herself falling to the ground. Sarina managed to catch herself, but she felt pain rise in her weakening arms as they began to go numb. What looked like a door on the side of whatever strange chariot lay before her opened after it came to a halt. A figure, shaped like a person, ran before her. Before Sarina could react in any way, everything went black.

"...er seen...ing li..."

"May be...few...."

Sarina could swear she saw people standing above her, talking. There were bright lights around her, not like in His Domain, but more glaring. Everyone was dressed in white and wore similar uniforms. Two women stood by her sides, one with blond curly hair and another with short, raven colored straight hair. In front of her was a man with a thick, squarely trimmed mustache that was the same shade of reddish brown as the short, simple hair on his head.

"...acle...n say...IVs for a...i..e.."

Her consciousness faded again as Sarina felt herself slip. She remembered hearing people move, muffled voices, but above all that was it.

There was a pleasant breeze, accompanied by a feeling of comfort. Sarina stirred, looking around as her tired, differently colored blue and red eyes focused. She was in a somewhat small room that was nondescript looking. The walls were a pale blue painted color and there was an open window with green framework next to where she sat. She found herself in a queer looking bed that was arched up an an angle, leveling her head and back. She found her elegant gown had been replaced with a more plain blue one that oddly seemed to lack a back to it. Her body had gauze applied on multiple sections of her abdomen, her forearms and her thighs as well as her back, mostly along her spine, though she couldn't see those. Next to her was a metal tray on a thin rail of some kind with old, dirty looking bandages and a brown bottle next to it. She looked at her left forearm and saw a strange plastic tube, connected to a clear plastic bag next to her suspended on a similar rail of some kind.

Sarina wondered what had happened to her, when a woman came in, clad in a white dress that ended in a skirt that reached past her mid-thighs, as well as heels. Her hair was blond and curled in a salon-fresh hairstyle and she had cornflower blue eyes as well as a delicate, but partially aged face.

"So...you're awake..." The nurse said in some form of minor accent Sarina didn't recognize, but what we knew as a southern accent. Her tone was nervous and easily reflected the fact she knew little of what to think in this situation.

"Where...am I...?" Sarina asked innocently with a dreary tone in her voice. Was it her weak from whatever happened or was it the reality of the situation bearing down on her? She didn't know.

"You're in a hospital sweetie..." The nurse laughed nervously, trying to form her ruby red lips in a smile as she spoke "Then again, uh, I guess Heaven doesn't need hospitals does it?"

Sarina looked down despondently. Reality further sunk in as she looked at her injured body. It was true; His Domain was a place of peace, free of all pain and woes. But here...

"Anyway, we were worried you wouldn't pull through. Er, pun unintended, but the doctor said it was nothing short of a miracle you survived. I guess being an Angel means healing faster than a human. Anyway, you've been kept on IV for a time so you're probably hungry."

The fallen angel looked over at the tube in her arm? IV? This strange object?

The nurse brought Sarina food she'd never seen before. It was different then the fruits in His Domain, but had a humble quality to it. Not only that, she needed utensils to eat some, like the 'mashed potatoes' and steak and the "jello" the nurse brought her after for dessert. It had felt strangely compelling, eating like this as she sat in the hospital like this. She would call for more food at times. Seconds, even thirds, for almost every meal of the day. She would ask for snacks regularly, partaking in the wonder that was human food.

However, this of coursed caused her to gain more weight within less than a week. Her body looked a tad softer and she had lightly more feminine features, as opposed to her rather androgynous figure such as curvier and wider hips as well as slightly more defined breasts and a softer belly that her fingers seemed to lightly sink into as she pressed against it. After a while, however...
