Lucid Dreams Never Felt So Good

Pshhh…

That must’ve been the water running. Bill couldn’t look at the damage. He wouldn’t.

He knew he was screwed, but somehow his curiosity never stifled. “Might as well check the damage,” he justified to no one in particular. Hesitantly, he rested his eyes on where his foot launched.
The middle-aged man couldn’t help but admire his handiwork. His eyes caught the doors hinges, which were bent in the direction of the door at an unnatural angle. Then, his eyes traveled to the sink, where the basin was all but put together, the china scattered in many pieces across the floor in front of him. Finally, his eyes made their way back to what was left of the mounted hand-cleaner, water spurting from the line.

A bemused expression laid on his face. Did he…?

He let out a laugh. There was no way this was real.

First, he got a mysterious package from his best friend. Then, he ingests it - nothing happens. On top of all that, his clothes suddenly stop fitting and when he goes to the bathroom to explore the damage, he creates even more damage.

He regained his composure. A dream. His thoughts tried, and he hastily accepted the answer. Definitely dreaming on the job.

Or maybe at home. Bill didn't care either way.

He stood up, noting how the top of his hair was nearly touching from the ceiling. He looked on either side of him, intrigued by how he could see over the tops of the bathroom stalls. He gingerly made his way out the stall, and took inventory of the damage closer up.

The line that was sputtering before dulled to a drip, the floor vaguely coated with a thin layer of water. This dream had to be the messiest one yet! And as Bill continued looking around, he found the stall door he kicked off - except it was blasted towards the entrance a few yards ahead of him! He resisted the urge to point at the chips and cuts of the sinks next to the one he destroyed, but he didn’t deny that his heart swelled at what he was capable of. He grinned.

Well, if he wasn’t gonna have fun at work, he could at least have it here.

Bill’s grin upturned devilishly as he gripped the metal dividers of the stall he broke out of. With a huff, the 40 year old yanked both of them towards him, childish glee on his features when all he could see left were the punctured through them. He tauntingly tossed the one in his right hand towards one of the two remaining sinks, chuckling when it slammed into the appliance, shattering it on impact.

His eyes turned to the other one, resting its length in both of his hands. In awe, he watched as he glided his left hand alongside the upturned edge, amazed by how the width of his hand nearly matched the border’s. Taking the thin material between his right pointer and thumb, he flicked the remaining partition towards the ceiling-

CRASH!

With a triumphant grin, he watched the airborne piece land back on the floor with a THUD, taking the glass shards of one of the lights with it. His expression still gleeful, his eyes fixed on the door. Would it take him outside?

He knew that leaving this location could change everything, as whatever laid beyond it might undo the buff he received. But his curiosity kept nagging at him, begging him to go to a second location. It wasn’t like he couldn’t cause more destruction here - he hadn’t uprooted any of the toilets yet, punched any of the walls - and he wasn’t even close to tired. But the other sink's line was leaking now, maybe a change of pace would be good for him?

Bill…
