The Beam was aimed right at her feet.
Rukia had been wearing her flip flops today because it was hot out.
The beam hit her feet and she just stared at them.
Nothing seemed to be happening.
"Thats weird" she said.
She shook off the experience and continued her walk.
At was only a little while later that she noticed her flip flops were not making there usual slapping noise against her soft souls.
She looked down at her feet once more but everything looked alright still.

She finally came to a park bench and sat down looking at her phone.
"I cant believe nothing happened. Those guys in the research department need to make sure their stuff works before putting out in the field." said Rukia.
She sat there a little while longer and decided it was time to go.
As she was getting up and about to walk off she tripped over something.
She fell to the ground with a grunt as she hit.
"What did i trip over way out here?" she asked.
She looked down at her feet and stared in horror.
Her feet had grown to three times their normal size and had completely broken the strap to her favorite flip flops.
"What is going on what caused this?" she asked aloud with a hint of fear in her voice.
She then remembered the phones beam hitting her feet.
"This is what the phone must do. But what use would i have for having giant feet?" she asked.
Rukia's mind was racing trying to figure out what she should do next.
She could shrink her feet back to normal by pushing the S button she thought.
Then again it would be a waist to have feet this big and not find out what they are good for.
