Examining the fantasy 'section'—though 'wing' might be a more appropriate term, given the size of the store—Eliot found no shortage of suitable outfits. All the costumes were of exceptionally high quality—all the fabrics were thick, rich and authentic with none of the unnatural sheen that too often spoiled otherwise fine sets. No, every piece of clothing here looked like it came straight from the set of a high-budget movie. The selection of pseudo-medieval armor was particularly striking—full sets of shining steel armor that looked every bit as authentic as genuine museum pieces. Not only the armors were impressive—the attention to detail was such that any one of these costumes would surely be the talk of G-con.
