You wake up... Glints of sunlight are coming though the canopy. Wait, canopy? One minute your sleeping in your nice comfy bed and now your lying on the dirt in some unknown forest. You get up to explore a bit. This forest isn't like anything you had ever imagined. Unless you're dreaming. "Ow!" you say, pinching yourself. OK so this isn't a dream. You realize you will need find shelter before it gets dark. Before other creature come to get you..
Wait, other creatures! Dammit! You forget! Other creatures and monsters. They might be out to hunt you right now! They could be coated in poison or have the ability to hear you step on a stick five miles away! This could turn out to be worse than a nightmare! And your family will be worried sick! But on the bright side, maybe you can befriend one of the creatures and have it protect you from harm.
As you are walking, you come across a little overhang. Perfect! No clouds tonight, either. Wait, are there even clouds on this planet? Now's not the time to find out. Nighttime is when creatures hunt.
No fire tonight. Best stay out of sight unless you want something hunting you down. By the look of the moon it looks like its around 11 o'clock. Tomorrow will be a new day, time to work and get firewood and make an improved shelter. You soon fall asleep thinking about your family
When you wake up the next day, you start to explore. forgetting the need to gather firewood. Around the bend a little, you hear a rustling in the bushes. As you take a step backwards, ready to start running, you see a pair of eyes staring at you.You start to run away, but trip on a tree root. "That Figures..." is the last thing you say before blacking out.
You awaken to the sound of breathing... "Oh...You're awake...You would have made an excellent snack back there, human...but I spared you...On one condition..."
