"Christ, I just remembered!" your father says. "It's the anniversary of the day your mother and I started dating! I gotta give her a special anniversary present, and this guillotine has given me the perfect idea! Would you kindly shoo your mother away, sport?"
"Sure, Dad," you say.
You leave the garage and walk to your mother.
"Hi Mom," you say.
"Hello," your mother says. "What's going on?"
"I talked to Dad. He needs power tools."
"For what?"
"Well, let's just say he's building something important for you."
"So, he remembered our anniversary." Your mother grabs keys and leaves the house. "Bye, hon."
"Bye Mom."
You quickly return to your father.
"I got Mom to do an errand."
"Thanks, sport," he says, hands held behind his back. "Anyways, want to see what I chopped off to give to your mother?"
"Yes, what?"
Your father grabs a box with his left hand, then opens it. "Look."
