Chapter #4

your dad

    by: Unknown
"It'd probably have to be you, Dad," you say, rubbing your chin.

"Why do you say that?"

"Well, even though I'm pretty muscular, my shoulders aren't big enough for two heads. I bet we'd be able to fit on yours, but it'd be tight. We'd be rubbing together a lot."

Your dad considers this, before sighing.

"What's wrong, Dad? You seem disappointed," you ask, approaching him. He puts a hand on your shoulder.

"To be honest... I was kind of excited about getting to share your younger, more fit body. I get sick of lugging this gut around everywhere," he says, patting his big belly and avoiding eye contact with you.

"Hey, don't put yourself down, Dad, I think you look great!" you say encouragingly, hugging your father. He squeezes you tight, blushing from your compliment. "I mean, I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't... kinda... want to share your body anyway..."

Your dad looks shocked, his face getting even redder. "You mean..."

You take his hand and lead him to the guillotine, laying down. "What are you waiting for, Dad?"

He enthusiastically tugs the cord, sending the blade down through the base of your neck, leaving nothing but completely smooth shoulders on your body. You watch yourself get up and reach into the basket, lifting your own head and holding it in front of your stomach.

"Your turn, Dad," you chirp. He pats your head, blushing, before getting in the guillotine the same way, chopping off the base of his neck as well. This way, you'll be able to put your heads on in a way that gives you equal space on your dad's shoulders. He yelps a little when the blade strikes his neck, but is of course unharmed. You take his head out of the basket as well as his body stands up. You hold him next to your head as you both look at his headless body.

"So, what sides should we take on your shoulders, Dad?" you ask, turning your neck to look at him.

"Well, I've always been left-handed, so I'll take my left side," he says as casually as putting on a pair of shoes.

"That's good," you reply, "I've always been right handed!"

"Looks like we were made to share!" your dad jokes. Both of you share a good laugh before you decide to get closer. You lift your heads and position them just right, then simultaneously attach them to your dad's broad shoulders. Almost instantly...
