Beg her to leave you alone

You stand rooted to the spot. Paralyzed by fear. You’re afraid if you fight her you’ll lose, you’ve never been in a fight and Julia’s confidence really shakes you. You’re more scared that if you run she’ll catch you and it’ll be even worse. You have to try to reason with her.
“Please Julia. I know I’ve been a dick, but I’m really sorry about that.” You reach up to wipe her loogie off your face as you plead with her. She responds with an outburst of laughter.
“Oh. My. God. You are so pathetic!”
“Look, I promise I’ll make it up to yo-“
You stop mid-sentence as another loogie smacks into your face. Directly between your eyes. You reach up calmly to wipe it away and then Julia speaks.
“No. Leave it there.”
You drop your hand to to your sides and feel the warm spit dripping down your face. Your cheeks burn with humiliation but you know you have to play by her rules to avoid making her angry. You begin to open your mouth to make your case, but she cuts you off immediately.
“Shut up, if you want to talk to me then do it from your knees.”
You take a quick look around and don’t see anybody so you drop to your knees in the grass in front of her. She claps her hands with delight and lets loose a howl of laughter.
“I always told you I’d have you on your knees begging me for forgiveness some day. Looks like I was right!” She stops to stare at you, a wry smile stretching across her face. “Well...beg me not to kick your ass. If you do a good enough job, I might not!”
So you beg, on your knees, with spit and phlegm dripping off your face.
“Please Julia! I know I was terrible to you in the past, I know I’ve been an asshole, and you didn’t deserve that. But violence isn’t the answer and beating me up won’t fix anything. I promise I’ll be nicer to you from now on! I’ll do whatever you want!”
Tears are welling in your eyes as Julia howls with laughter above you. A minute goes by before she composes herself and looks at you.
