April had to find out more about her new found crush so she chases after him. He slipped away very fast but she was also pretty quick on her toes as she races across the school hallways until she finally sees him in the cafeteria.
Steven was just sitting at a table all by myself. He appeared to be very lonely but not any longer as April decides to give him some company.
"Hey there, handsome" she said, sitting up pretty close to him "Having a bad day?"
"Yeah..." he sighs "Failed a test yesterday and got too much homework to make up for it..."
"That must suck..." she said, sounding very sympathetic "School is tough, huh?"
"Yeah and I still don't have a girlfriend..."
Of course, that line got her attention. She knew she had to take advantage of the situation.
"Can I be your girlfriend?" she asked, now resting her head in his lap.
This was the first time Steven had a girl approaching him like that so it was amazing to him to hear these kind of words come of her mouth. However he was still yearning for Jill, whom he probably wouldn't have a chance with in a long time. But April, despite her current situation, looked just as attractive if not more and seemed to have special about her so why not?
