You decide to ask her why she choose couple costume, she went red and decided to say "I thought it might be a fun idea to choose". You were staring at her and she was staring back. You turned away quickly as you didn't want to affect your relationship with Alexis. You tell her a couple costume is fine and you walk to the further end of the store and you are looking at the different costumes and she picks up a cheerleader and footballer costume which you consider to be a fun idea as you never really tried this, she also mentioned that they said that these were from the boyfriend/girlfriend section, you start to stare at her and let her know its a good choice. You decide
