Her vision was still slightly hazy, but it was enough to make out her surroundings.
"...Wha...Wh-Where am I?" Jill weakly questioned, as she took note of her current environs.
Surprisingly, it was a rather lavish-looking bedroom, akin to what you would normally find within a posh hotel or inn. Suffice to say, Jill couldn't help but feel quite uneasy, considering it reminded her all-too-much of the Spencer Mansion. From there, her ears soon picked up the distant sounds of gunfire off in the distance.
"Gotta...Find...Help..." She weakly said, attempting to stand up of her own volition, only to find herself on a rather shaky foundation, stumbling onto the floor in the process. But after a few more attempts, she was able to barely stand on her own two feet, to which she shakily made her way to the door before her.
Grasping the doorknob with both hands, Jill struggled to turn the knob due to her being in such a weakened state, only for the door to swiftly open forward, causing her to fall onto the floor with a muffled thud. Stubborn as ever, the brunette weakly stood back up onto her feet, slowly making her way through the hallway, with a hand on the wall for balance.
Eventually, once she made it to the end of the hall, Jill soon began to smell something...delicious?
No! It wasn't that! She said to herself, shaking her head in the process out of initial denial, only for the aroma to hit her sinuses once more, causing her mouth to salivate instinctively.
Gritting her teeth, Jill impulsively made her way out of the hallway and into the main area of what she can see is an extravagant penthouse, with the sparsely burning flickering of the buildings of the doomed Raccoon City not too far off in the distance from her view.
But it wasn't what she saw over the nightly horizon that garnered her attention, but rather...
