'I never did get to thank Tails for the cake today...' Cream thought to herself as she walked towards the front door of her house, 'He visits me all the time, I'll go visit him!'
Cream walked outside of her house and jumped, flapping her large rabbit ears. Unfortunately, she fell right back onto the ground. Confused, she tried jumping into flight again, but with the same results - she dropped like a rock. The overweight rabbit eventually gave up and sighed, then started walking instead of flying.
"I can't even fly..." Cream muttered to herself, "I couldn't have gotten that fat could I?" Cream looked down at her body and rubbed her abdomen with one hand, noticing the sort of "dome" like shape her stomach took. She poked her belly through her dress, and winced a little at how far her finger went in. To make it worse, she had eaten an entire cake just a few minutes before hand, so her stomach wasn't empty, and therefore, her finger couldn't go as far.
Cream eventually started getting a little tired. Strange, considering all the running she used to do, getting tired from walking, especially just for a few minutes, shouldn't be tiring for her at all. It was a little obvious to Cream as to why she was getting winded already - her tubby body.
Fortunately for Cream, Tails' house was just in sight. She sucked it up just a little bit more so she could reach his house, but by this point, she started to breathe heavily and sweat a little. Cream managed to make it to the front door and gave it a few knocks. Seconds later, the door was open by the very person Cream was expecting: Tails. Tails gasped and immedietly lunged at Cream to give her a hug. Tails not only loved the fact that Cream had just visited him, but he also loved the fact that her body was so soft and warm.
Tails pulled away a little so he could see Cream's face, "I'm so happy to see you, but why did you come?"
Cream's smile filled her puffy face, "I just wanted to come and say thank you for the cake for today, I never did thank you earlier."
"Oh well you're welcome sweetie- uh I mean, Cream." Tails answered. Although Tails' little stutter was pretty good at masking what he originally said, it was no use with Cream. She clearly heard him say "sweetie".
"Besides," Said Cream as she used the hug to pull Tails towards her, "You always visit me, so I just wanted to visit you for once."
"That's..." Tails' face reddened, "That's nice...come right in." Cream let go of Tails and walked right in. Tails closed the door behind them, "Make yourself feel at home."
"Thanks. So what have you been doing?" Cream asked, looking around.
"I've actually been baking more cakes for you, surprise surprise." Tails answered.
Cream turned to Tails, "Really?"
"Really. I've noticed how quick you were to eat the cake I gave you earlier today, so I figured that maybe you might have room for more cake. I was planning on giving you another cake today actually."
"Cool."
Tails walked into the kitchen and picked up a large bowl, "The cake is already baking, but here's the rest of its batter if you would like."
Cream followed Tails and took the offered bowl, "I love cake batter!" Cream squealed as she looked inside the bowl. Sure enough, the inside was covered, but not filled with, cake batter. Delicious cake batter. Cream slid her hand around the inside of the bowl so she could get as much of the battery as possible and licked it off of her hands. She moaned in joy - she hadn't had cake batter in quite a long time, and it was a taste she absolutely loved. Not as good as the carrot cakes, but pretty far up there.
"Tails," Cream started, after swallowing, "I have a question."
"Yes Cream?" Tails asked.
"Um...have I been getting fat?" Cream asked.
Tails looked at Cream, "Why?"
"Well...I jiggle, I couldn't fly - I had to walk here, and I got tired rather quickly." Cream pointed out.
Tails winced when Cream said she walked to his house, "You walked here?"
"Yes."
"Well I wouldn't be too worried about it." Tails assured as he walked towards Cream, who went back to licking the cake battery. He gave Cream's belly a light pat and slowly rubbed it, "You do look like you have been putting on some weight, but you're just a little chubby. No problem."
Cream made a verbalization of agreement as she continued to lick the bowl clean of its contents.
