"If you don't leave right now, I'm gonna...." Knuckles was suddenly had an idea (I know I'm shocked too) He gave rouge a smile that sent a chill up her spine
"Wait right here" he said as he ran into the temple. Rouge just sat there with a confused look on her face.
"What is he up too?" She said confused
Suddenly Knuckles returned with a big black box in his hands.
"If I give you this will you stop trying to steal my emerald? said knuckles handing her the box.
"If you think paying me is gonna make me stop from taking the emerald, you better think agai..." Rouge was lost of words after she opened the box, cause inside was a ruby the size of a football. She pulled it out and held it in her hands. "Wow this ruby is huge!" She said with joy in her eyes. "Wait and see what happens next." Knuckles smiled
The ruby started to glow and then shrink in her hands."Hey whats happening to the ruby?" she asked as the ruby disappeared into nothing.
Rouge looked angrily at Knuckles "Well Knucklehead your payoff just disappeared, so are you gonna give me the emerald or wha...?
Rouge suddenly felt strange, she look at knuckles and yelled "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!"
