Joseph approached the siblings. "Hi," he said.

"Hey," Thomas said.

"I just got here. Have you been staying here long?"

"Two days," Thomas said. "This is my sister, Chloe," he commented, pointing at her.

He tried to figure out how to ask about things. "Have you...umm...noticed anything weird around here?"

"Yeah, I guess." Thomas said. "I mean...there's this weird maid. Why?"

"Weird, how?" Joe asked.
