Kristi arrives with her parents who are in their fifties, Harold and Nancy. Dr. Moriarty arranges for Kristi to put her parents asleep and set them up on the lab tables to show her loyalty and devotion to him. Dr. Moriarty wants Kristi to belong to him and have no one look for her. Dr. Moriarty now has the three people in the world who love Kristi most in his lab. Dr. Moriarty will change the family relationships so that no one will be looking for Kristi.
After the change, Anthony and Harold are a married couple and Nancy is their daughter. Anthony (still a doctor) becomes the sole breadwinner for the household. Harold becomes the stay-at-home wife and mother. Nancy is now a home schooled fifth grader. No one remembers Kristi at all.
Anthony drives his family back home in the car that he originally arrived with Kristi.
