I woke up by the smell of egg and bacon, I opened my eyes and sat up and saw Scarlett with a frying pan with the food I spoke off cooking. “Morning” she said with a smile on her face as she spotted me getting myself up.
“Morning” I answered back as I rubbed my eyes to get the sleep out from them. Scarlett took out a plate, place an egg and slices of cooked bacon onto it and handed me it. “Thank you” I said as I took the plate from her.
As I was eating, I noticed that the other three women were nowhere to be seen. “They left” said Scarlett as she took out a plate for herself and put the rest of the egg and bacon on it. “I'm sorry?” was all I said when I looked at her confused.
“Well, you were telling the truth about being broke” said Scarlett as she held a wallet in her hand. I looked at her and then put my hand in my pockets and found that it was mine. “Hay” said I as she threw my wallet back.
“Well...sorry for taking the wallet, its just the way you dressed up so anyone would think that” said Scarlett as she smiled at me. “Its alright...no damage done” I said as I put my empty wallet away as I began to eat.
The two of us just sat there not talking but eating till one of us was finished which was her.
“So what are you doing out here?” asked Scarlett as she looked at me. I had to think fast as my story is that I'm a traveler, “I'm from the main lands of Istory” I lied. “Istory huh, so what's a traveler doing way out here on the Twilight Islands during winter?” Scarlett asked me as she took the plate off me.
“Oh you know, looking for adventure, something to tell others when I go home” I answered. “Hmm, adventure huh. If you're looking for adventure you better come with me” said Scarlett. “Why?” I asked.
“Well, lets just say that I help the poor and the adventure I got in store would very much help them” she answered. Feeling that I have no right to say no, I agreed to go along with it. “Great...we need to head towards the island of Mercy, home of the Witch of the Gale” she said as she stood up with her hands on her hips.
“Mercy? Why are we heading towards there?” I asked as I stood up worrying with what I got myself into. I looked at her and noticed that she was six inches taller than me. “Oh don't worry. I tell you once we get there” said Scarlett as she headed off towards a port.
And with that we headed towards the Island of Mercy. It only took us till twelve to reach the port of town known as Grotto Port. I looked up at Scarlett and asked, “So now are you going to tell me what we are going to do?” She looked down and answered...
