Maria asked what the minotaur's name was.

The only sounds that broke the peaceful night air was that of crickets chirping, fire crackeling and water boiling. Maria's was almost drooling. The scent of the stew was heavenly, but she knew that she could have none of it until it was ready.

To pass the time, the fox decided to strike a conversation with the beast: "So, what's your name?"

The minotaur looked like he had not heard Maria, but before she could ask him again, he spoke: "Raza is my name. And you?"

"Maria," she said.

Raza nodded and turned back towards the fire. He wasn't much of a talker, she realised. They sat again in silence. Maria stared back up at the beast; he, like she noted before, was huge, muscles rippling across his body. There was a strong male smell on him; most likely he was overflowing with testosterone.

She felt small and fragile next to him, and jumped when he said...
