The handle grew hotter in his hand. Alex went to remove his hand from the handle only to find that his hand seemed to be stuck. The handle grew hotter and Alex felt the heat start to radiate through his hand. Alex heard faint murmurs from the little girl from the other side of the voice and then felt the intensity of the heat increase. Alex felt the handle begin to burn at his flesh and he started to panic. The smell ran up through his nose and Alex began moving his hand wildly tugging and hitting at the handle with his other hand. Alex wiggled the handle more and more in a effort to free his now searing hand from the red hot handle.
