Alex was in Walmart pushing a shopping buggy. The buggy was filled with stuff he didn't want. A blue pillow. He already HAD a pillow. A boxed DVD set of the I Love Lucy TV show. A thermometer. A bottle of vitamin pills. A clock radio. A box of Cheerios. An Etch-A-Sketch toy. What was he doing with all this stuff? He didn't even have any money.
His shorts fell down. He quickly pulled them back up looking around to see if anybody was looking. Almost everybody in the store was. He looked at the floor and felt his face get red. Time to check out.
It was a long line at the checkout counter. The clerk was so ugly he couldn't look at her. He couldn't even tell if she was a man or a woman because she was so big and had hairy arms but she also had big beanbag breasts on her chest and she was wearing a dress. Her teeth were rotten.
The man behind Alex in line bumped into him. Alex jumped.
"Excuse me," the man said in a whiney voice... but then he bumped Alex again. "I'm so sorry!" Alex wasn't sure what part of the man was bumping him and that was creepy. Then he got bumped a third time. His skin began to itch and he wished the damn checkout line would MOVE! What was holding things up?
