Watch movies

...watch some movies," said Megan's father. "I still have some of Megan's favorites here and it will mean a great deal to me if you would watch at least one with me."


Find the request kind of odd you look at him like he is close to losing his mind. But after a moment you figure he just misses Megan and that since you were the closest person to her the past several years it would be no big deal. You respond by saying, "Sure".

Megan's father then pulled out a chick flick, noticing that it was one of the Megan's favorite movies. But you still cringe at the sight of the movie.

Megan's father says, "This was one of Megan's Favorites and I would love to watch it with you."

"Um, ok, sure. Let's put it on," you respond.

Putting in the movie Megan's father sits down on the couch and signals you to come sit next to him. You go and sit next to him, feeling a little uncomfortable as the movie started.

Nearly an hour and a half later the movie ends and you suddenly realize that you actually enjoyed the movie. You thought to yourself that you wanted to see it again when you had the chance. But it was late and you had to go to bed.

Standing up to go up to Megan's old room you turn and say, "Good night, daddy".

You pause for a moment, wondering why you just called Megan’s father ‘daddy’ but he didn’t seem to notice so you head up to the bed. Megan's father smirks and heads up to his bedroom.
