You woke up with a gasp inside your gasp. Your tongue and throat were dry, and your head was pounding. You just had one hell of a dream - or a nightmare. You look at your head, still doubtful of the powers bestowed upon you. The closer you looked at your fingers, and the more you focused on the memory of the dream, the more your hand shimmered like a river surface. Somehow, you were convinced that the powers were true. You can possess the bodies of people by phasing into them. You haven't tried it yet, but it feels as if you have already done it a thousand times. The question remains... who shall you use this power on?
You left your dingy car and made your way to class. It was Monday, and the hallway was filled as expected. Smash University was the town's only university, after all. From kindergarten to post-graduate school, everything was here. You don't consider yourself the friendliest in this place, but you've known many resident students on campus.
As you entered the hallway, you saw Link and his two brothers talking amongst themselves. The three golden-haired brothers never talked a lot except for themselves. Despite the muted vocabulary, the three are famous on campus because they are the face on the promotional brochures of the campus. Toon Link's cute, Young Link was adorable, and Link was handsome. They were probably as famous as the Mario brothers. And speak of the devil...
Mario and his brother Luigi were leaning on their locker rooms while they flirted with their respective girlfriends. Or maybe, it was the other way around? Peach and Daisy would seem like dainty little princesses, but they are fierce under the facade. Those four are competitive with one another, as they are known to have tried every possible sport this campus could give - from tennis, to cart racing and even golf.
You made your way to your first period. As you sat on your seat, you immediately noticed the crowd forming at the edge of the room. It was the new transfer students, Sora and Ren (who prefferred to be called Joker). The two appeared at the same day and became instant best friends. One was cool and mysterious (Joker), and the other was active and playful (Sora). They seemed like the perfect match, and their display of camaraderie resulted in their rapid popuarity among the other students. They were so popular that various school clubs invited their participation. As far as I've heard, Joker hasn't joined one yet because he was always preoccupied after class. Sora already joined the Arts and Crafts club. Population? Five. Him and the other four Mega Men (EXE, X, Volnutt, and Star Force.
As you sat in your class, you remembered the other students you had not seen today. Then your mind dwindled toward your dream and power. You scanned the class and thought of someone to possess. You can possess someone here, or someone outside. Your imagination was the limit. Who did you possess?
