Chapter #3To age 40, and beyond by: Unknown "Vixen are you coming?" Wonder Woman hollered at her as they made their way to the meeting of the Justice League.
"Yeah, I'll be there--just feeling a bit rough this morning is all. Give me a minute would ya? I just have to finish getting ready."
"Well, don't take too long, you know how dark the Dark Knight gets when people keep him waiting."
"Yeah, don't I know it," she laughed, and then ducked back into her room to do some last minute primping.
She ran a brush through her hair, adjusted her outfit, and grabbed her glasses and put them on. She paused a moment as she picked up the glasses, trying to recall
when she had started wearing those. "Happens to super heroes too I guess," she mused, then pondered if her voice sounded huskier somehow,
As she met back up with Wonder Woman in the hall, she told her,"Okay their darlin, I'm ready. Let's be off then, we aren't getting any younger."
"That's for sure...though we aren't getting any older for the most part. By the way, what is with the glasses, and your hair?"
At that point Vixen stumbled and grabbed Diana's arm to steady herself."What do ya mean by that?"
"You've never had to wear glasses before, and you've got touches of gray. That is a little different."
"I do? How'd that happen?"
"I thought you knew about it?"
"That would explain why it felt weird when I picked up the glasses. Diana, I don't know how it is happening, but somehow I'm getting older rather quickly."
"Eeeek," Wonder Woman gasped as they rounded a corner,"I just hope it isn't catching. You look like someone's mom about now, and it is getting worse."
