Down the Stairs

Luis comes down wearing khaki cargo pants and a button down shirt Hannah has never seen before. "What do you think, we're going on a date?" she jokes with him. He pretends to punch her in the arm and says, "Hey, you never know what can happen." Maria smiles and says to the kids, "You two are going to get married someday and you know it. Everyone has seen it coming!" Luis rolls his eyes, although he's blushing and says, "Ma! Will you stop it! It's just Hannah!" As Luis looks at her, he notices that Hannah is blushing too. "Alright killer," Hannah says, "Let's hit the diner! I'm starving!" They leave the house after saying goodbye to Maria and are both torn with wanting to hold each other's hand or not.
