Geitz mumbled something about life as he made his way towards Eliwood's tent. Lord Hector had assigned him of all people to deliver a note to Lord Eliwood, something about tactical formations for castle invasions. The warrior wasn't looking forward to seeing Lord Eliwood. As much as he respected his commander, he never felt that close to the man and often avoided him in combat, fearing that Eliwood would be able to see through his mask and into his past. Today however, the meeting was unavoidable.
Eliwood's tent was quiet and rather dark, leading Geitz to believe the Lord had fallen asleep. A small, rather childish shaped lump underneath the covers on the makeshift bed confirmed this. The warrior was rather relieved and quickly tossed the note on a small wooden table nearby.
As he was about to exit the tent however, Geitz noticed something strange. The lump on the bed seemed different, smaller than what it had been when he had come in. Curious, he made his way over to the bed and examined it. He was sure he could make out a lump of Eliwood's red hair coming out from under the covers. Something told him that things were out of the norm.
Holding his breath the warrior pulled the sheets. What he found was shocking. Eliwood was indeed there, fast asleep but only half his regular size. It took only a moment for Geitz to figure out what had happened. Eliwood was shrinking, fast.
