Edward needed no time to think. The possible resulted excited him, and he instantly dropped the stone into his mouth and attempted swallowing. Surprisingly the mineral seemed to dissolve in his mouth, leaving a light sweet taste. Well at least now Edward knew he wouldn't regret swallowing this thing. There seemed to be at least some good in this.
Sighing, Edward laid down again. Who knew how long it would have to be before the effects of the strange pebble would active? He didn't want to sit around all day long awaiting results..
Feeling restless, Edward thought of all the things he could do once he was famous. Maybe give himself the title of lordship? Ask someone to help him with this naiveness? Or perhaps he'd force someone to make him the best sword in the world. Ya. That's be nice.
Edward sat up suddenly. What was that strange feeling? Standing up, Edward shook his head. What was going on? This was getting ridiculous. Maybe he shouldn't have swallowed the stone after all.
Starting to leave to go out into the open, Edward noticed that the roof above his head seemed lower. Had it always been this way? Confused and worried, Edward stepped outside into the fading light. Day time was almost over. Edward guessed in 2 hours it would be dark.
