The smell of bacon filled the air as Hannah stirred awake, slowly opening her eyes. Morning light filled the small bedroom, revealing several piles of clothes on the floor, as well as a couple of video game posters doting the white walls. A light rap on the door preceded it opening to reveal a teen boy carrying a tray of food.
"Hey gorgeous." He said, moving towards the bed as he set the tray in front of her.
"What prompted this?" Hannah asked looking over the large spread in front of her, more than enough for two people.
"I figured it was a Saturday and I had time." He took a seat on the bed beside her, grabbing a piece of bacon from the plate, "I've already eaten so this is yours."
She frowned slightly, she had been meaning to go on a diet as she was starting to get a bit chubby, but the food smelled so good, and Teek had made it for her. She grabbed a fork and lifted some eggs to her mouth. Savoring the delicious flavor she spoke through a mouthful of eggs, "I'm not used to getting a nice warm breakfast unless I make it."
Teek chuckled, "I know, what with your family never being home. I was just glad that you let me stay here while your parents are away."
"Yeah," Hannah said, stirring the eggs slightly, "I hate when they go on these long trips. But at least I won't be all alone this time."
"That's why I'm here." Teek laughed, "Anyway, you finish up and I'll go clean up the kitchen."
Teek stood up and left, leaving her alone with the massive breakfast.
He was definitely an excellent cook, she thought as she grabbed a strip of bacon and ate it. She had intended to lose weight and surprise her parents, but she figured that she'd just have to start her diet later. It didn't take her long to scarf down the breakfast though, leaving her feeling uncomfortably stuffed while her pajama bottoms felt like they were cutting into her waist.
She flopped back down in her bed, feeling rather tired after that large meal. Drifting back to sleep, she is eventually woken by Teek who...
