Dexter had decided that today he was going to build something that would actually help people. His original to end world hunger by increasing the size of food backfired because the procedure was only temporary. The principle idea behind this machine was to somehow help people digest food more efficiently. This machine had been in the works for weeks and he had written stacks of calculations, but he knew that there was always that wildcard that put all his charts and graphs to bunk.
As if on cue, Dee Dee came dancing in and said something that almost always appeared in Dexter's nightmares. "Ooooooh. What does this button do?" The button in question activated the machine, but hadn't been properly wired in. She pressed it and the machine began shaking violently. The firing mechanism began spinning eradically.
