When crushing those smaller than you became a kind of profession, you learned very quickly how boring it could become over time. Kayva was always looking for variety in her killings, and she had been considering a new mothod just a few hours ago that she was eager to test.
"Hello, little man. What an unfortunate accident," the elf gushed in mock sympathy. "But I'm afraid you're in my way."
The man struggle against his constraits, slowly craning his neck to see the full scope of the giantess.
"Please, can you get me out of this mess? I'll reward you," the man said, looking her in the eye. He didn't seem scard at all, Kayva thought disappointedly. This wouldn't be nearly as fun as it would be to a helpless, gibbering victim, but it would satisfy her for the night. That and the fact that he couldn't possibly have anything of worth to interest her, she reasoned, taking another step closer. The ground around the man shook with the tremor of her footfalls, but still he stood his ground, knowing he couldn't move anyway so he should at least look brave.
"My apologies, insect, but nothing you can provide intrigues me," Kayva announced, leaning over to tear the man loose from the snares.
"What have I done to you?" the man huffed, writhing in her grip. "I've done nothing wrong by you!"
The elf giantess blinked, amused by both his desperate movements and confusion.
"Then I guess that would truly make you pray, would it not?" Kayva pondered, tilting back her head and dangling him over her mouth.
