Kayva enjoyed the feeling of the girl now in her womb trying in vain to escape as she walked through the woods searching for something, or rather someone, to eat. After all, she needed to keep her strength up since she would soon be a mother.
It was a few hours before Kayva heard them, several angry voices of humans. And it wasn’t much longer before she saw them and the torches and various farm instruments they carried. When they got closer she recognized the man and woman leading the mob, the parents of the girl she took. “Giantess, give us back our daughter!” The man shouted.
Kayva was a bit concerned; she had dealt with groups of humans before, but never one of this size. For a brief moment she was actually frightened, until she felt something in her womb. “You’re too late.” She said with a triumphant smile, “She and I are connected now. Kill me and you’ll kill her as well. And since you won’t harm her, you can’t harm me. So then, the lot of you should be plenty to feed me, and her as well.” With that said Kayva attacked.
