This choice: Jack and Helen find their way to class. • Go Back... Room 2B was the destination for Jack and Helen. Before their trip to school, they were given information about the whereabouts and plans of their future lessons. Using this information, they located Room 2B in a matter of minutes, dodging the chaos that was the school corridors, they managed to get through unscathed. Jack and Helen walked up to the doors and both took a deep breath.
"Ready?" Helen placed her hand on the handle.
"Ready."
Helen applied pressure to the handle and pressed it downward, resulting in the door to slowly slide open, the twins slowly walked into the large classroom and found themselves in a state of confusion. Helen and Jack scanned the room and realized the room they had entered was completely empty. Not a single student or teacher could be found, resulting in Helen to slowly slide into a state of panic.
"Oh no..." Helen whimpered. "The classroom is empty!"
"Maybe we're early?" Jack suggested. "It's not a problem." He smirked, "Let's pick a seat and wait for the teacher to come, if he doesn't, then we ask another teacher where were supposed to be."
"That's..." Helen paused, "That's a good idea." She slowly walked over to a nearby desk and rested herself on the seat, shuffling her bag under the desk.
"If we stay together," Jack mused, "Then nothing bad could ever happen to us, right?" He took the opportunity to take the seat next to his sisters and chuck his bag under his seat.
"You're right," Helen agreed, resting her arms on the desk. "We're big kids now. We need to take respon... reppon-si..."
"Responsibility...?" Jack corrected.
"That's it! We'll learn even bigger words, too!"
"How big? I don't want to say words with a gazillion letters in them." Jack leaned back in his chair and scanned the room, taking note of all the posters and the drawings on the walls.
"There's no such thing, silly." Helen giggled.
As Jack and Helen continued on with their conversation, an unknown aura of energy surged through their bodies and the rest of the school, causing changes to not only the students, but the teachers. But as that was going on, Jack and Helen were unaware of a certain figure now standing in the classroom. It was... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
