Scream around some more, than do something normal

Dawn panicked for a while, but calmed down. Dawn said to Ash, "Okay, so I'm you now...this is officially creepy. Very creepy." Ash replied, "That stone is...well, I'm not sure what it is." Dawn thought to herself/himself, "...Hmm, maybe if I touch the stone again, I can fix this. Or it could get worse..."

Dawn said to Ash, "Maybe I should touch the stone again. Maybe I'll go back to normal. What do you think?" Ash replied, "Or it could get worse." Dawn thought, "I just thought those same words! Are me and Ash in sync or something, now that we're basically twins?"

Ash thought to himself and then said, "Wow, we're basically twins now!" Dawn grumbled a bit, realizing her thoughts were either being read by Ash's mind or something really weird was going on. More weird than what just happened anyways. But, then how could it get any weirder?

Ash followed up by saying, "Maybe we should stay twins...just for a little while. It could be fun. We can go back and grab the rock anytime. What do you say?"

Dawn thought about it and:
