This choice: Robert Marans, ex-gentleman theif • Go Back... Once again, Robert was having a restless night. In his dreams he sees children locked up in cages. He sees them looking like a mixture of humans with animal parts. He sees their eyes, begging for him to release them. He feels his left hand being torn apart. He feels the change from when he was injected with the serum that turned him into a human/cheetha mix, and forced him to have to deal with King on a daily basis.
Suddenly, he wakes up in a cold sweat. He looks over beside him and sees the woman who had turned him into what he was, Victoria. She had done it to save her own life, as the guards at the labratory would of killed her if she didn't do her job or tried to go to the police. He had escaped using her as a sheild, but he later developed feelings for her, when she told him her story, like how she was framed for rape and murder, how she had been forced to either do the expariments, or become one her self, or something even worse, as her boss had a large number of genetically altured snakes, and not hybrids that were sentiant mind you, which could have easily eaten her. Sometime later, he married her, after the place had been brought down and the people behind the whole thing had been taken care of.
He then gets out of bed and looks at his left hand. Unlike the man that King had once been fussed with, his injury had not been healed, meaning that part of his hand, including his ring and pinky finger, had to be replaced with prothstetics. It had taken him a while to get used to this, as well as the fact that he wasn't human anymore.
Then he walked to the bathroom, got out a washcloth, got it wet and started to wash his face when he heard a voice ask, "Are you alright Robert?"
