Nio woke up to find himself In his usual dark ally.
He was a street dragon.
Although he wasn't all that book smart, he knew well enough to survive as long as he did.
Beside him, his brother and his sister were still fast asleep.
On his left, Sasha (Pronaounced Say-sha) shifted in her sleep.
Over on his Right, Naakong (Pronounced Na-koong) Was stirring slightly.
"Uhh.." His eyelids fluttered before he put his head back down, clearly not wanting to wake up just yet.
Nio chuckled to himself.
"Time for us to get up." Nio yawned and then stretched and shook himself.
He was the leader of the Trio of Troublemakers.
Or, at least that was what they had been labeled as by the community.
He tapped the other two dragons beside him twice on the shoulder.
That was their code for "Get up. No trouble yet."
Three taps meant "Up and away right now! trouble a foot!"
They got up and got ready to move silently like they had been trained to do.
They quickly got out of the alley and then went out in search of food. They hadn't eaten in a long time. About a month and a half. But they have found water every few hours or so. And when that wasn't enough, Sasha was a water dragon and could provide water, usually. Though sometimes, if you pissed her off enough, wich not a goal many accomplish easily, she can make fire.
Nio was an earth dragon while Naakong, was an electric dragon.
Well, today the plan was to find a bar that had some free samples and didn't know who he and his 'family' were.
These three weren't related by birth, but they are however similar in their virtues and values and they managed to find eachother.
It is a very odd story.
Nio was the leader of the group. It was a thankless job, but hey, someone has to do the job.
Not that Sasha and Naakong couldn't lead, but they had all agreed near the very beginning that Nio was the strongest at leading in combat strategy and staying alive.
When they walked out of the alley, they saw:
