"What do you want!?," I said angry as I opened up the front door. "Hiya lady, would you like to buy cookies?," I looked at the cute girly face of a teenager holding a small box. She wasn't much younger than me, but her face and short size made her look younger. Dressed in a scout's uniform and shoulder lenght hair. Great, just what I needed! A stupid teen selling cookies, while I had much better things to do. "I don't buy at the door, bother someone else," I said already starting to close the front door.
"But...but...," the girl stammered on a sad tone. "I won't even buy them when Santa himself baked them, now scram," I responded. "Think of all the poor hungry children in Africa...," the teen told me all about the poor people in the world who would murder to eat these cookies. After listening to the her story (which took nearly half an hour) I started sobbing. "You...you're right! I'll buy those cookies! Whoaaa...I'm a bad person!," she really messed me up.
"Just wait here...I'll get the money," with those words I walked back into the house leaving the front door open. What I didn't know was that the girl started giggling as soon as I was out of sight. "Haha...another victim for mighty Laura!," she said to herself. "Hey, what's this?," the teen noticed something laying on the doorstep. She picked it up and examined the object. "A tv-remote? But, it looks weird."
Meanwhile, I was searching for money in the kitchen to pay for the cookies. Suddenly I realized I was completely insane! How could I be so stupid to fall for this trick! "That little...!," I made my way back to the front door. Maybe, it had been good idea to try out the remote on her. It sure would have teached her a lesson! I stuck my hand in my pocket to take out the remote, but it wasn't there!?
I quickly ran to the front door and feared the worst!
