Susan has spent most of her adolescent years signifcantly taller than everyone else in her class. By high school, she was taller than the captain of the boys Varsity Basketball team. Attractive as she was, many of the boys were either intimidated by her height, or if they were overly conscious of their own image, they might call her a freak. Susan just wanted to fit in better, and without thinking about how to safely word her wish, she said "I wish to be shorter."
At first everything seemed normal, until she stood up to hand the stone to the next girl. Her clothing was way too loose. Worse she was now standing and was shorter than she was while seated. "Oh no... I'm too short!" After a few measurements, it became clear that Susan was "shorter" than the shortest person she knew, her youngest sister. At less than 3 feet tall, the former tall girl, was now to be the short girl.
