Alex woke up early, she had so much to do since it was the first day of middle school, and certainly didn't want to be late. Alex heaved her heavy body out of bed and got dressed. She found a new uniform hanging in her closet that her mother had just bought. It was a typical girl uniform, a button down shirt and skirt. Alex put it on but found it to be a little loose. Maybe her size WAS all in her mind. Little did she know that her mother planned ahead and purchased a uniform a couple sizes too big, expecting Alex to fill it out in the future.
Alex than went downstairs for breakfast.
"Is this all for me?" Alex sheepishly asked.
"Yes and you must eat all of it." smiled the mother.
Before Alex was a massive breakfast spread over the table. There was bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, and waffles with various syrups and toppings.
"Isn't this a bit much?" Alex asked
"It's your first day of middle school hun. You must be well nourished. Now start eating you wouldn't want to be late." the mother sweetly but firmly instructed.
Alex plopped her ass in the chair and began eating breakfast. It was tasty but there was so much of it. Alex struggled to eat it all but she didn't want to anger her mother. Nothing upset her mother more than wasting food. Even after filling her stomach, Alex pushed on and stuffed herself even more until her plates were cleaned.
"Gah!" Alex loudly exhaled leaning back in her chair.
"Now see there wasn't that much, was there." teased the mom removing the dishes from the table.
Alex sat at the table for a few minutes before setting off for school. Her mom placed her backpack in front of her. In it was her lunch with a big slice of cake, and a bunch of snacks like M&Ms to snack on during class.
It was time for Alex to leave and her mother waved her off, quietly planning the day's later meals.
